- I've heard these things... on the bright side, I've seen an increase
- in the number of jobs available for VB-programmers. No degree
- necessary, just 2-4 years VB-programming experience and you
- can start out somewhere in the $40k-$70k range...

- I know I'm "walking the plank" with this one, but any sane person
- wanting to do AMOS-like development would be well-advised to
- consider the DJGPP C/C++ compiler along with the Allegro game-
- programmer's library. Both are FREE! On my 133MHz machine I
- can get a 10,000 star tri-layered parallax-starfield at 60fps using
- the "plot" command, so it is just a tiny bit fast as well...
